EAT S.M.A.R.T

Eat S.M.A.R.T.

We have teamed up with Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin and Kwik Trip to provide meals to Club families in need.

Feeding America is the largest charity working to end hunger in the United States and they bring food to people facing hunger. They advocate for policies that create long-term solutions to hunger.

Eat SMART stands for Supporting Meals And Recipes To Go. Eat SMART is a grocery pick-up program that will be FREE to our Club families, on the 2nd and 4th weeks of the month running March – June. Ordering food will take place on an online platform, and Club families may order twice per month. To be eligible families must have a child registered at the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Northwoods – Antigo. Nonperishables will be boxed and ready for pick-up at a designated time at the Antigo Boys & Girls Club, and any perishable food items can be picked up from the Antigo Kwik Trip stores, with a voucher that will be included in the boxes.

Angel Zimmerman, CEO said “We are excited to be able to provide this service to our Club families. We are on a mission to ensure all Club families who need meals, do not go without. No one should go hungry!”  The Boys & Girls Clubs also provides free snack and dinner during the school year Monday – Friday from 3-5pm. The meals are free to all students 18 & under in our community and they do not need to be Club members to receive a meal. In 2023 the BGCNW provide more than 36,000 meals to youth in our community.
